Photo Friday: Sunny Slopes in Vail, Colorado
A perfect winter getaway for those who want to hit the slopes, Vail boasts the second largest ski mountain in North America. The photo depicts the “Heavy Metal” run in Blue Sky Basin, the most recent expansion of Vail Ski Resort, offering more meadows and glades than traditional clear-cut ski runs.

Over 200 years old, Wat Pho is one of the largest and oldest Buddhist temple complexes in Bangkok. Also known as The Temple of the Reclining Buddha, Wat Pho is located in the Rattanakosin district near the Grand Palace.

UPDATE 11/16: The photo was take in Berlin at Mauerpark. Located in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg district, Mauerpark, which translates to “Wall Park,” runs alongside the former Berlin Wall border and Death Strip. On Sundays, a weekly flea market takes over the park, offering a variety of antiques and knick-knacks.

Photo Friday: Dark and Stormy
In honor of Halloween, a dark and stormy pic! In which NileGuide destination was this photo taken?
UPDATE 11/4: The photo was taken in Chicago at the Calvary Cemetery. The oldest existing cemetery established by the Archdiocese of Chicago, the first burials took place in 1859. “Residents” include former Chicago mayors, aldermen, bishops, as well as early settlers.
